Week 1 of the Lottery was great, tons of people showed up for our 2nd day of ICC 25 and we downed another boss!

Sindragosa is down! She's a pretty simple fight once you get used to it. While I didn't get a picture in front of her (Xil did so you'll have to wait for him to actually post it) I did get some of us before we pulled the Lich King.

Click on their names to be sent to the Tankspot video guide for each. You can also look them up on Wowwiki for information about their abilities, and Tankspot also posts these videos to Youtube.

Learning these fights before raid times will drastically improve our raid performance and we will down fights.

Also make sure you are flasking and getting food buffs for these and all progression fights. I don't mean start looking for someone to sell you a flask once the raid already starts. I mean have multiple flasks ready - at least 2 or 3 - BEFORE the raid starts. Everyone knows our raid times are typically 7-10 PM server time, and invites start at 6:30. And if you didn't ... well, now you do! So get to it!

Ohai there. It seems Xillian misclicked and gave me some SUPERPOWERZZ...ahem...moderator powers. So here I am posting on the front page.

Don't run away screaming just yet! I might actually say something worthwhile.

I'd like to point everyone over to this post, which details some of the problems we're having with our 25 man raids. Also, there is this post which is a simplified explanation of the EPGP loot system (and an FAQ to boot!) if you're still confused about it or have questions.

I'd also like to report that Skill > GS for REAL! As some of you might have seen last night we downed the Plagueworks with a strange little group mixed of mains and alts. While the tanks/dps were, I will say, perfectly well geared for ICC 10, we had two somewhat undergeared alts healing. Okay, well Ðainz was undergeared (about a 5k GS). Afrey (who was being played by Efntank) started with a lovely 4.4k GS. Oh yes. He did rent the frost emblem cloak and received some new gear so by the end he was 4.6k GS, I believe.

I will admit! I despaired that we would wipe on the trash over and over until it was called. I'm not used to playing on Ðainz, much less healing, and I'm pretty sure Efn doesn't heal nearly as often as he tanks. Silly me.

We cleared all the trash to the Plagueworks, 2 shot Festergut, 1 shot Rotface, and 1 shot Professor Putricide himself. We also went and did the gauntlet for the mini-boss and the extra badge. So anyone who says you might have skill but your gear isn't good enough...that is a lie! Welfare epics and ilvl 200 trinkets will carry you every day.

But I still would rather dps on Ðainz anyday :)
