To clarify, when I was editing this up in Photoshop I said, "Hmm, what should I put for the tagline?"

To which Steve promptly answered, "Purple nerple."

I wanted to leave the whole Arthas down in 10 man thing up for a bit at the top but I ran across this video this morning and thought it was a great video.

If you don't already watch the Weekly Marmot, I highly recommend you keep tabs on it over at Tankspot. They do an amazing job of covering all aspects of play, not just tanking.

Anyways, this video covers 2 things, first off filling missed raid spots. We have no issues with this on our first night, but the 2nd night is a bit questionable. Instead with a low attendance we need to break off into 10 man groups and that's never good.

Attendance is important and looked at both main raid nights

Also, rather than logging off assuming you're not getting into a group at 7 or shortly after just looks worse to us. It seems as though every week we're picking that last spot and someone takes off. Lastly, people underestimate the power of standby. Myself and all the officers watch the standby list. This means that when it comes to invites the next week, the player that was on standby for the raid the previous week is usually going to take precedence over the player that says "oh no invite? alright..." and then logs off.

Hate having to whisper? Install this addon. I've told numerous people about it because their complaint is "I miss when I get removed sometimes". There is a big blur of green and pink text on your screen so even if thats too hard to miss, this addon will give you a big giant image that looks a wee bit like this:

Not able to make raid or going to be late? Telling an officer is nice, but let's face it, we're human. Post it in our thread on the forum and let us know.

Whenever you get removed. Click the button and you're back on the standby list. Just one other quick update, we're close to a workable solution which long term should be better for the guild as a whole and will propel us to cataclysm in a good position to be very competitive.

So keep your heads up, we'll have Arthas down in 25 in no time. Oh and the video...
